A Twinkle In The Dark

The pretty stars that look so beautiful in the night
And from Afar shine so bright
Did you know that they're really dead?
It's so crazy that you could really see them from your bed
I mean how could something that's dead and out of life
Hold the ability to assimilate a light that shines so bright
I think one I was one of those stars
Out of life and diminishing of the dimming
Except I never thought I could brighten again
That is until you ignited a spark
A spark that reminded me of my power
You gave me a light and now I can shine bright
The difference between me and a star is
I'm not dead yet and can really change my life
To where I'll never lose my light or dim my bright
No matter what, I'll be alright
Cause I hold the ability to assimilate a light that shines so bright.
